Meet KEWAZO at Bauma 2025

Apr 7, 2025

Material lifting robot LIFTBOT. Interchangeable platforms. Real-time data analytics.

In less than two weeks, the global construction industry meets again at bauma 2025 — the world’s largest trade fair for construction machinery. We're looking forward to being part of it again and sharing what we’ve been working on.

At BAUMA 2022, we showcased LIFTBOT in its role for scaffolding assembly. Since then, LIFTBOT has been used on numerous high-impact projects - helping teams improve safety and efficiency, and saving millions in operating costs.

Here are a few examples:

And we didn’t stop there. Together with our clients, we’ve continued developing our material lifting robot — shaped by real-world demands and on-site feedback.

It’s rewarding to see how far we've come — together with the teams using LIFTBOT every day to make jobsites safer and smarter.

A key feature of LIFTBOT has always been its adaptability. With a 20-minute setup time and less than a minute to move between rail positions, it supports both temporary installations on scaffolding and permanent setups on fixed assets.

From scaffolding assembly to a wide range of material handling tasks, LIFTBOT has evolved into a single robotic system with multiple applications. Equipped with interchangeable platforms, the same LIFTBOT now supports insulation, painting, equipment transport, and more — streamlining material handling across both industrial and construction environments.

LIFTBOT for Industrial Sites

LIFTBOT improves safety and efficiency during turnarounds, maintenance, and capital projects — saving up to 70% of costs in scaffolding assembly.

Now, with its general material handling platform, it is also used for applications such as insulation, painting, surface treatment, and mechanical activities.

LIFTBOT with general material platform at BASF

Recently, BASF replaced a crane with LIFTBOT and its interchangeable platform, deploying it in an area where there was no space for a crane. Watch the full video here.

LIFTBOT for Construction Sites

On construction sites, LIFTBOT leads to immediate savings by replacing cranes and riggers. It reduces the risk of falling objects and improves site ergonomics with its advanced safety system and rotating platform.

From optimized scaffolding assembly to broader material handling tasks — the same LIFTBOT, now equipped with a new platform, supports applications such as frame scaffolding, plywood sheets, drywall, roofing materials, and more.

KEWAZO’s real-time data analytics platform gives clients clear visibility into on-site operations. With this tool, clients can monitor key metrics — inclusing how many tons of material are moved in a shift — turning routine operations into visible, measurable achievements.

It combines live operational data with historical dashboards to track progress over time. Benchmarking against industry standards adds another layer of value — helping teams identify gaps and improve performance.
